Singer and actor Kim Jong-hyeon will drop his second EP "Brilliant Seasons," on Jan. 3, his agency Evermore Entertainment said Monday.
"Brilliant Seasons" will be Kim's first new album after a year and two months since his first EP "Meridiem" was released on Nov. 8, 2022.
Kim refers to life as seasons in his album, saying, "Everything happens to make life brilliant in the end," according to his agency.
The singer is scheduled to release four different types of concept photos from Monday to Thursday, followed by a track list release on Friday.
Kim is slated to reveal the album and perform the tracks before its release during his fan concert, titled "Sparkling Eternity," on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.
Kim, also known as JR, debuted in 2012 as a member of boy band NU'EST under Pledis Entertainment. The band got its name known through the second season of cable network Mnet's audition program "Produce 101" in 2017.
The band ended its activities in March 2022. Kim signed an exclusive contract with his current agency Evermore Entertainment in May 2022. He also played roles in TV shows "Let Me Be Your Knight" (2021–22) and "Sound Candy."
