GS25 to offer mega discounts on 130 items from Dec. 16

GS25, one of South Korea’s major convenience store chains, said on Friday that it will commence its monthly mega sale on Saturday, earlier than the usual 20th, which will last until the end of the month.

The items primarily feature essential daily goods such as beverages, snacks, general groceries, and frozen foods, predominantly structured around a buy one, get one free offer.

Highlighted products include a range of Yakult Grand 280 in five variants, Hot Six energy drinks, and Netflix truffle popcorn.

Customers using GS Pay will benefit from a buy one, get one free offer on Pure Milk Bread and Pure Milk Morning Rolls, while those using Kakao Pay for payment will receive a 50 percent cashback on nine types of steamed buns.

GS25 initiated the monthly mega sale event in February this year, witnessing considerable success.

Until last month, the chain sold over 120 million items and provided customers with about 100 million products through various promotions.
