BabyMonster's 'Batter Up' video tops 100 million views on YouTube

YG Entertainment's new girl group BabyMonster's debut song "Batter Up" hit 100 million views on YouTube, the fastest for a K-pop debut song, according to the agency on Friday.
"Batter Up" was released on Nov. 27 and set the record on Friday, 18 days after the release.
The group's dance performance video for "Batter Up" became the most viewed video within 24 hours shortly after it was uploaded on Dec. 4.
BabyMonster has 2.8 million monthly listeners on the global music streaming platform Spotify as of Friday. It surpassed one million monthly listeners six days after the release of "Batter Up."
"Batter Up" topped iTunes song charts in 21 countries and reached No. 101 on Billboard Global 200 and No. 49 on Billboard Global Excl. U.S charts.
BabyMonsters is a girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of six members: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita.
Ruka and Asa are Japanese and Pharita and Chiquita are from Thailand.
