EXO's Sehun will begin his mandatory service as a social service agent on Dec. 21, being the last member of his band to enlist.
"I'm sorry for delivering the news so late," Sehun said in a hand-written letter.
"I've been lately spending some time alone, looking back and thinking about myself," he added. "Due to this, I didn't have the opportunity to show my face and bid farewell. I hope you understand why I am not able to say goodbye in person."
"The time and location of Sehun's enlistment will not be disclosed as he requested a quiet enlistment," his agency SM Entertainment said the same day.
Six of the total eight members of EXO completed their military service. Kai has been serving as a social service agent since May.
Sehun debuted in 2012 as a member of EXO under SM Entertainment. It consists of eight members: Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai and Sehun. The band is known for songs like "Growl" (2013), "Ko Ko Bap" (2017) and "Love Shot" (2018).
