The authorities of Panama reported on 11 December the seizure of 7.9 tons of drugs, the vast majority of them marijuana and the rest cocaine, and the arrest of nine people, including Panamanians and foreigners, in four operations carried out on the Pacific coast in less than 24 hours last weekend.
