Samsung Electronics to showcase AI vision at CES 2024

Samsung Electronics Co. will showcase its artificial intelligence (AI) vision at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, the world’s largest home appliance and IT exhibition, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in January.

Samsung Electronics announced Wednesday that it will host a press conference at 2 p.m., local time, on January 8, one day before the opening of CES 2024, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Han Jong-hee, vice chairman and head of Samsung Electronics’ device experience (DX) division, will take the stage as the keynote speaker to share the company’s AI vision and strategies under the theme “AI for All: Connectivity in the Age of AI.”

Samsung Electronics recently unveiled its internally-developed generative AI model, Samsung Gauss. The company plans to gradually integrate the model into various products to provide a new user experience.

Its flagship Galaxy S24 series, scheduled for release early next year, is also expected to incorporate on-device AI, enabling the collection and processing of information within the device.

The press conference will also be broadcast live online on Samsung Newsroom, the company’s communication channel.
