After the minority People Power Party (PPP)’s innovation committee chair Ihn Yo-han points to Rep. Lee Sang-min, a five-term lawmaker of the Democratic Party (DP), jumping ship from the majority party citing the tyranny of DP leader Lee Jae-myung, former prime minister Lee Nak-yon — a heavyweight in the DP and Lee’s rival in the primary to elect the presidential candidate of the DP in the last election — points to the DP lawmaker leaving the majority party led by a leader devoted solely to his own supporters. Meanwhile, Ihn urges PPP leader Kim Gi-hyeon to run in a constituency hostile to the PPP to help reshape the conservative party. [PARK YONG-SEOK]
