Military parade marks Romania's National Day

Romania is celebrating Great Union Day which commemorates the unification of the three historical provinces of Transylvania, Basarabia and Bucovina with Romania in 1918. More than 1,500 soldiers and specialists, as well as approximately 90 technical means from Romania, participated in the military parade at the Triumph Arch Square. Also, some 150 NATO soldiers with 23 technical means from Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Portugal, Poland, United States, the Netherlands and Turkey also participated at the parade representing allied countries contributing to NATO structures on the territory of Romania.
