SM Entertainment will hold its companywide K-pop concert “SMTOWN Live 2024" next February at Tokyo Dome, the agency said Saturday.
“SMTOWN Live 2024,” the 20th iteration of SM Entertainment's famed concert franchise, will take place on Feb. 21 and 22 in the Japanese capital city.
Participating artists from the SM umbrella include: Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Hyoyeon and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, aespa, Riize and an upcoming boy band tentatively named NCT New Team.
“The artists will perform collaborations that can only be seen at 'SMTOWN Live,'” the agency said in a press release.
The previous Tokyo Dome event, held last August, sold out all of its concerts. More than 150,000 fans attended the three-day event.
“SMTOWN Live” has been held in various countries around the world ever since it began in 2008, including Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Chile, the United Arab Emirates, France and the United States.
