Lee Changsub of boy band BTOB signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio, the agency said Wednesday, after leaving his former agency Cube Entertainment earlier this month.
Lee, who debuted in March 2012 as a member of boy band BTOB under Cube Entertainment, left the agency after all band members decided not to renew their contracts, ending the 11-year relationship between the band and the agency.
Lee started his musical acting career in 2017 and is known for his roles in "Iron Mask" (2018) and "Memphis."
Lee is currently starring in musical "Winter Traveler" and hosting a YouTube show, "Jeongwaja" (2022–).
Fantagio promised to support Lee in both his solo and group activities.
"Lee will receive comprehensive support to participate across various genres actively," the agency said.
"As Lee possesses a strong determination for group activities, we will prioritize and support his future group activities."
BTOB debuted in March 2012 with the song "Insane." The band's name stands for "Born to Beat" and is best known for "Missing You" (2017), "Only One for Me" (2018) and "Beautiful Pain" (2018).
Other members of BTOB, Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Lim Hyunsik, Peniel Shin and Yook Sungjae, will also be seeking new agencies.
