Boy band Seventeen's Dino will drop his first solo mixtape "Wait" on Nov. 27, his agency Pledis Entertainment said Friday.
"Dino's first solo mixtape 'Wait' will reveal a new side of him that has never before seen," Pledis Entertainment said in a press release.
While other information about the mixtape was not disclosed, a teaser image released on Friday showed a drawing of Dino on a crosswalk running towards something along with the release date.
"Wait" will be available on various global music streaming platforms, including iTunes and Spotify, and music platform SoundCloud on Nov. 27 at 6 p.m.
Dino debuted in 2015 as the maknae — the Korean term for the youngest person in the group — of boy band Seventeen under Pledis Entertainment. The 13-member group is known for self-producing its songs and performances and is divided into three specialized units: hip-hop, performance, and vocal. Dino is in the performance unit.
Dino recently released his first song for a TV show, "Icarus," for the ongoing tvN series "Castaway Diva" on Nov. 4. The band is known for its songs "Very Nice" (2016), "Clap" (2017) and "Super." It recently released the EP "Seventeenth Heaven" on Oct. 23.
Dino recently participated in the 13th Unesco Youth Forum in Paris with his bandmates on Tuesday, during which the team gave a speech and performed five of its songs.
