Big Ocean ENM, an entertainment agency, will roll out a new five-member girl group named iii with a pre-debut single on Nov. 22.
The group's name, iii, comes from the word inspiration, showing its ambition to become an inspirational artist, the agency said.
Its official debut is planned for early next year.
The agency also unveiled one member of the group, Vivi, who is going to be its main dancer.
"I still can't believe I'm making my debut," Vivi said in a press release. "I hope to become an idol that people will always remember."
Other members of the group will be announced in the coming days, according to the agency.
Big Ocean ENM was established in 2020 after a merger of three companies: drama production Super Moon Pictures, film production Gom Pictures and music production The Groove Company.
It has produced TV shows such as the SBS drama "Our Beloved Summer" (2021) and made music for shows including SBS's "The Penthouse" (2020). The company was also home to G-reyish, which disbanded last year.
