Boy band NCT Dream will release a remix version of its track, “Broken Melodies,” in collaboration with U.S. singer-songwriter JVKE.
The remix version will drop as a single on Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. on streaming platforms, including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify and Melon.
The original song track “Broken Melodies” is a track from its third full-length album and expresses the emotions that follow love, portraying a strong will toward it.
The U.S. singer will feature in the remix version by adding his soft touch to the original love song, according to NCT Dream's agency SM Entertainment.
JVKE started as a social media personality and officially debuted as a singer in 2022, releasing songs including “Golden Hour” (2022).
NCT Dream's latest album, “ISTJ,” released on July 17, surpassed more than 4,300,000 copies in sales in total, listing in top charts outside of Korea, such as Japan, China, and the U.S.
The team is scheduled to perform at the U.S. music festival “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour” starting in Boston on Dec. 10, followed by Washington, D.C. and Atlanta.
NCT Dream debuted in August 2016 with its debut single “Chewing Gum” as a subunit of the boy band NCT under SM Entertainment. NCT Dream was originally a subunit of NCT's teenage members. Members were supposed to leave the group when they became 20 years old. However, the rule was repealed after the most senior member, Mark, who graduated due to age, rejoined the team.
