BabyMonster's debut lead track will be a "powerful" hip-hop score, YG Entertainment said.
The girl group's debut was originally slated for September but has been delayed to November "to be extra cautious in choosing the lead track," according to YG Entertainment.
Being YG Entertainment's first girl group in seven years, following the debut of Blackpink in 2016, BabyMonster has been garnering worldwide anticipation since the seven members of the group were announced starting January this year.
BabyMonster's predebut track "Dream" has already surpassed 53 million views in under six months on YouTube and the group's YouTube channel has more than 3.15 million subscribers as of Friday.
