GFRIEND's YERIN Releases New Album - Along With News of Her Screen Debut

(MHNSPORTS Heewon Kim reporter) YERIN, a former member of the girl group GFRIEND, expands her activities through the movie 'New Normal.'

'New Normal' (directed by Jeong Beom-sik) is a well-made end-time thriller that portrays the timeline where the world arrives in a new era where fear has become a daily routine. Following actors Choi Ji-woo, Lee Yu-mi, Choi Min-ho, Pyo Ji-hoon, Ha-dayin, and Jeong Dong-won, YERIN announced the news of joining.

YERIN, who plays the role of Hae-kyung in the play and works with the actors, makes her screen debut for the first time in the 'New Normal' movie and also makes her first attempt at the horror genre.

YERIN, who previously debuted as GFRIEND, tried to play the role of Lee Hae-na, the owner of a shabby witch shop, in the recently released web drama, 'The Witch Store Reopens'.

On August 23, YERIN, who released her second mini-album 'Ready, Set, LOVE' and was active in variety shows, will increase her activities through her first screen debut film 'New Normal.'

Meanwhile, the movie 'New Normal,' starring YERIN, will be released in theaters nationwide on the 8th.
