Hunet CEO Cho Young-tak
In a recent interview with Maeil Business Newspaper, Hunet CEO Cho Young-tak expressed his determination to become a global leader in the education technology (EdTech) sector, aiming to spearhead the K-education ecosystem.

Hunet is a company that provides a “one-stop total solution” for corporate growth and development.

Cho has been focusing on combining digital technologies with learning, including hybrid learning and artificial intelligence (AI) education, moving beyond traditional online and offline educational models.

Last month, Hunet organized the Global Learning & Development Forum at COEX in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul. This year’s theme centered around “The Next Normal” in the global corporate education sector, with a significant focus on “skill-based learning.”

Cho explained that as the importance of information technology and the service industry continues to grow, there is a shift towards recognizing the significance of breaking down competencies into smaller “skill” units.

For example, if a company used to manage 400 or so enterprise competencies, it is now about the skill granularity of breaking them down into some 3,000.

“We have signed a sponsorship agreement with ATD, also known as the CES of the talent field, and we are in discussions to partner with Amazon,” Cho said.
