CJ CheilJedang launched its delivery service brand, “bibigo to go,” in Britain, the Korean food conglomerate announced Monday.
The bibigo to go brand operates in collaboration with British delivery franchise company Peckwater Brands and is available on local delivery platforms, including Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat.
Bibigo to go's menu offerings are based on bibigo products that are already established in the UK. Items include a gochujang-based chili sauce, gyoza dumplings with ssamjang, plant-based dumplings, fried chicken, tteokbokki and japchae — with plans for a menu rotation every six months.
In a bid to expand brand recognition, CJ CheilJedang is also hosting a bibigo pop-up store in Shoreditch, London throughout November.
The pop-up store offers exclusive sales of items not yet available through regular distribution channels, including frozen gimbap and kimchi spring rolls, in alignment with its broader business strategy.
