Actor Jung Woo-sung will return to the small screen with a new romance series, “Tell Me that You Love Me” on Nov. 27.
This marks Jung's first romance genre in 11 years, after his last romantic comedy “Padam Padam” (2011-2012).
The series will co-star Shin Hyun-been, who has starred in “Hospital Playlist” (2020-2021) and “Reflection of You” (2021).
“Tell Me that You Love Me” is based on the eponymous Japanese TV series aired in 1995. Jung takes on the role of a hearing-impaired artist named Cha Jin-woo who is more adept at conveying his emotions through drawings rather than words. The series follows the romance between him and actor Jung Mo-eun, portrayed by Shin.
The series will be jointly produced by “Love in the Moonlight” (2016) screenwriter Kim Min-jung and “Our Beloved Summer” (2021-2022) director Kim Yoon-jin,
Jung is known for works such as such as “A Moment to Remember” (2004), “Athena: Godess of War” (2010), “Cold Eyes” (2013) and “Asura” (2016). He is known for his active engagement in UNHCR as a National Goodwill Ambassador.
New episodes of “Tell Me that You Love Me” will be released every Monday and Tuesday on Disney+.
