Boy band VIXX is set to release its fifth EP “Continuum” on Nov. 21 with only three members, its agency Jellyfish Entertainment said Sunday.
The same day, the agency posted a teaser video to the band’s social media channels.
This is VIXX’s first music in four years and two months, since its last single “Parallel.”
For “Continuum,” only three of the four members — Leo, Ken and Hyuk — will participate in promotional activities.
The leader, N, is unable to partake due to conflicting schedules as he is currently starring in tvN’s television drama series “Castaway Diva.” He apologized to fans via a handwritten letter posted on VIXX’s official fan community site.
“I’m sorry I won’t be able to greet fans on stage as a member of VIXX,” he wrote. “I was worried I might be putting pressure on fans who were waiting on us as well as on the members. We discussed it through and decided that I would not be with them [on stage] as the leader of VIXX this time.”
More information on the EP, including the tracklist, will be unveiled at a later date.
