Actor Lee Sun-kyun appeared before the police a second time for questioning regarding his alleged illegal drug use on Saturday.
The police said that Lee's hair samples sent to the National Forensic Service (NFS) for a more detailed analysis returned negative results for drug use.
The 48-year-old actor, who is being investigated for alleged drug use, appeared at the Incheon Nonhyun Police Station for questioning together with his lawyer around 2 p.m. Saturday.
He has been accused of using marijuana and psychoactive drugs multiple times since early this year at the home of a nightclub owner, who is also being questioned by the police.
Lee apologized for "causing concern to everyone" and said that he will "comply diligently to the questioning today" when asked if he admits to taking illegal drugs.
During the actor's first appearance on Oct. 28, Lee's rapid drug test results came out negative.
Though a more detailed test at the NFS came out negative, the police said they are not ruling out the possibility of Lee having taken drugs earlier than the period the hair samples cover.
Lee returned home only after an hour of questioning last Saturday. However, it is likely to take more than the first round.
Currently, a total of 10 people, including singer G-Dragon and Lee, are under investigation by the Incheon Police Agency on suspicion of drug use. To find out more about Lee Sun-kyun, visit Celeb Confirmed
