Ahn Sung-il, CEO of Fifty Fifty's production company The Givers, sued the girl group's agency Attrakt's CEO, Oscar Chun, for defamation, according to Yoon & Yang, a law firm that represents Ahn.

"Oscar Chun, the CEO of Attrakt, continuously made defamatory allegations without evidence against the CEO Ahn Sung-il and The Givers's executive Baek Jin-sil through various media outlets since the dispute," the law firm said. Ahn also said Chun spread false rumors about Ahn gaslighting the members or that he approached Attrakt's artists to poach them.

Ahn admitted having conversations with the members and their parents but said he "simply responded to [their] questions."

Ahn said they came to Ahn and inquired about the consequences of filing an injunction against Attrakt regarding their exclusive contracts.

Ahn may file additional complaints against Chun for false accusation and obstruction of business, Ahn's representatives said.

A court, on Oct. 24, again dismissed girl group Fifty Fifty members' request for an injunction to end their exclusive contracts with Attrakt.

The ruling applied to only three members, excluding Keena, who dropped her case and returned to the agency the week before the ruling.

The agency terminated its exclusive contracts with Aran, Sio and Saena on Oct. 19.

Fifty Fifty's career was taking off with its song "Cupid," charting on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart less than a year after its debut last November. Its career took a halt after the members filed for an injunction to end their contracts with Attrakt on June 19.
