Lee Kang-in continues to shine on his return to Paris Saint-Germain, picking up his first Ligue 1 assist just four days after his first Champions League goal.
Lee, showing off what already looks set to be a very fruitful partnership with Kylian Mbappe, provided the cross behind the defense that the French international converted for his first goal of the game on Sunday.
That effort put PSG 2-0 up over Brest at Stade Francis Le Blé in Brest, France, following a 16th minute goal from Warren Zaire-Emery. Brest tied things up with goals in the 43rd and 52nd minutes, before Mbappe scored a penalty deflection in the 89th minute to take the game.
Lee — who was off by the penalty and avoided the five-card goalmouth scramble that ensued — returned to PSG earlier this month after missing the majority of the season through a combination of injury and the Asian Games.
Since arriving back in France with a shiny gold medal and a military exemption in tow, Lee has appeared in three games, playing the full 90 minutes against Strasbourg on Oct. 21, scoring his first goal for PSG in the Champions League against AC Milan on Oct. 25 and now picking up his first assist against Brest.
The official Ligue 1 X, formerly Twitter, account has been quick to jump on the Lee train, pointing out in a post Sunday that Lee made 51 touches with an impressive 90 percent pass accuracy in Sunday’s game.
