Seventeen’s Hoshi will feature in hip-hop trio Epik High’s new single “Screen Time” that drops on Nov. 1.
“Screen Time” will be the trio’s first release in months, since the EP “Strawberry,” released on Feb. 1, this year.
The single’s teaser image uploaded Monday had a name scribbled out, meant to be the name of a featured artist, now unveiled to be Hoshi.
Hoshi is a member of the 13-member boy band Seventeen, that debuted in 2015. The boy band recently released its 11th EP “Seventeenth Heaven” with lead track “God Of Music.” Seventeen was the first boy band to top Melon's Top 100 chart, Korea's largest domestic streaming platform, this year with its new lead track. Hoshi also started his solo career with his first mixtape “Spider” on April 2, 2021.
Epik High is scheduled to hold three concerts from Dec. 15 to 17, at SK Handball Stadium in southern Seoul, marking its 20th anniversary.
The trio debuted in 2001 with three members: Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz. It has released hit songs such as “Fly” (2005), “Love Love Love” (2007) and “Umbrella” (2008).
