Military Police oath ceremony in Bucharest

epa10942709 Romanian Military Police forces swear their oath during a swearing-in ceremony held at the headquarters of the 'Tudor Vladimirescu' Military Police Battalion 265 in Bucharest, Romania, 27 October 2023. Some 889 professional soldiers from the Romanian Land Forces from all over the country participated in the military oath ceremony in the units where they trained. At the beginning of October 2023, Romania had almost 330 soldiers deployed in the theaters of operations in the Western Balkans, of which approximately 250 were in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the EU EUFOR ALTHEA military deployment, and about 80 soldiers in Kosovo for the NATO - KFOR operation.
