Nongshim launches Shin Ramyun Light limited edition featuring Matisse artwork

South Korea’s top instant noodle maker Nongshim Co. has launched a limited edition of Shin Ramyun Light, a non-fried version of its flagship Shin Ramyun, featuring “Bouquet of mixed flowers,” an artwork by renowned French artist Henri Matisse.

Matisse, one of the leading painters of the 20th century, is known as the founder of the Fauvist movement and a master of color.

Nongshim launched the limited edition to provide consumers with a unique and enjoyable experience by having the painting of Matisse on the package, the company explained.

Nongshim plans to carry out various promotions, such as offering the limited edition packages to visitors to a special exhibition dedicated to Matisse being held at the CXC Art Museum in Seoul until the end of this year.
