Nepal celebrates 10th day of the Dashain festival

Some elderly people say playing on a swing means to leave the earth with the feet once in a year can take away ill feelings and negative vibes. The Dashain Festival commemorates the victory of the gods over the wicked demons, and it is regular practice to sacrifice animals to celebrate the goddess Durga.
