Korean bakery cafe chain Tous les Jours, run by CJ Foodville, opened a store in Calgary, marking the brand's first entry in Canada.

Canada marks the seventh country where Tous les Jours has expanded its global operations.

“The recently launched Calgary branch of Tous les Jours in Canada is positioned within the main commercial hub of Calgary, right within H-mart, where it enjoys a significant flow of visitors,” CJ Foodville explained Tuesday, adding, “this makes it an ideal location for brand exposure.”

The company also unveiled plans to open additional Tous les Jours stores in other major Canadian cities like Toronto and Vancouver. Their short-term objective is to establish 120 branches across North America by the end of this year, with a long-term vision of exceeding 1,000 stores by 2030. It opened its 100th U.S. store in August.

The company will initiate the construction of its first U.S. factory in Georgia later this year, slated for completion by 2025. The factory will become a production hub for its stores in North America.

Commencing with the United States in 2004, Tous les Jours has continued to extend its presence into countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, China and Mongolia, with its international store count exceeding 400 stores in September.
