The World K-pop Center will hold an audition to offer a chance at becoming the new K-pop star of Indonesia, in December.
The World K-pop Center, a K-pop education and concert organization institute established in 2020 that aims to globalize and spread the K-pop training system, said Monday that it will kick off its "Click the Star" audition program in Indonesia in December.
A promotional event was held in Indonesia from Oct. 13 to 15 at a travel exhibition hosted by Patih Indo group, an Indonesian travel company, according to the center.
The audition will be held as part of a major K-pop event in Indonesia, joined by government institutions and companies to introduce Korean culture in the area. The World K-pop Center will sell K-pop merchandise, Korean travel packages and K-beauty products and partner with Indonesian companies during the event.
“We hope to contribute to building an infrastructure for Korean companies expanding in Indonesia,” the center said in a press release.
