Venezuelans in Bogota vote in the primaries between the idea of change and apathy

epa10933338 Venezuelan citizens vote in the primary elections in which the opposition candidate who will face Chavismo in the 2024 presidential elections will be chosen in Corferias in Bogota, Colombia, 22 October 2023. In Bogota there were long lines before the voting center located in a parking lot of the Corferias International Business and Exhibition Center opened, all amidst songs and slogans alluding to the change they hope will occur in their country. Specialized NGOs estimate that around four million Venezuelans abroad are registered in the Electoral Registry (RE). However, of that group, 396,818 people who managed to update their data in the National Primary Commission application or were previously registered in the RE will be able to vote.
