Four people were killed and 14 others suffered minor injuries after their fishing boat capsized off the southwestern coast of Korea, Coast Guard officials said Sunday.
According to officials, 18 crew members were aboard the vessel when it overturned at sea at 5:57 a.m. on Sunday after colliding with a tugboat near the coastal town of Buan, South Jeolla.
The four dead were already unconscious when they were rescued, while the remaining 14 people suffered minor injuries, officials said.
The four were later declared dead after being transported to a hospital.
The Coast Guard said that it was investigating the cause of the collision.
