Actor Daniel Henney married fellow actor Ru Kumagai in a private ceremony, Henney's agency Echo Global Group confirmed Friday.
"Henney has met a precious person who he wants to spend the rest of his life with," Echo Global Group said in a press release.
It added, introducing Kumagai as an actor and model, that the two, who were friends at first, "recently held a quiet ceremony with close family and friends."
The agency asked fans to "kindly respect their privacy."
Henney, whose mother is Korean, rose to fame in Korea for his role in the Korean drama "My Lovely Sam Soon" (2005) and has since starred in a number of Korean and American films and dramas. His notable works include "Seducing Mr. Perfect" (2006), "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009), "The Last Stand" (2013) and "The Wheel of Time" (2021).
Kumagai is active as a model and actor and has appeared in works such as "9-1-1" (2018) and "Good Trouble" (2021).
