(MHNSPORTS Heewon Kim reporter) NEW JEANS proving their popularity with a long-term success on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest U.S. Billboard chart released on the 17th (local time), NEW JEANS (Hanni, Minji, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein)'s mini-album 'Get Up' ranked 66th on the 'Billboards 200'. As a result, 'Get Up' has been on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks since entering the top of the chart (August 5), breaking the record for the longest chart-in for a fourth-generation K-pop girl group.
In addition, 'Get Up' ranked second on Billboard's 'World Albums', and ranked 15th and 16th on 'Top Current Album Sales' and 'Top Album Sales', respectively.
'Super Shy,' the title song of their album 'Get Up,' which stayed on Billboard's 'Hot 100' for eight weeks, also ranked 34th in 'Global Excluding United States' and 59th in 'Global 200' this week, maintaining the top spot for 14 consecutive weeks on both charts.
Meanwhile, 'GODS,' the theme song of the '2023 League of Legends(a.k.a LoL) World Championship' (LoLd Cup) sung by NEW JEANS, also ranked 44th in 'Global Excluding United States' and 75th in 'Global 200.'
