Mirae Asset Securities to buy back $46.5 million of its shares

Mirae Asset Securities will buy 2.1 percent of its outstanding stocks in a bid to raise the stock value and lift shareholder value, the company said Wednesday.
It will purchase a total of 10 million stocks worth some 63 billion won ($46.5 million) through January next year.
Mirae Asset Securities stock rose 8 percent this year through Friday, though it fell 15 percent from its recent peak in June.
The company acquired 663.9 billion won worth of its stocks over the past three years.
It is currently reviewing the shareholder return policy that it plans to adopt over the next three years from 2024.
