Tous Les Jours, a popular South Korean bakery brand under CJ Foodville, on Thursday announced its expansion into plant-based products in various international markets, including the United States and Indonesia.

In the United States, Tous Les Jours introduced two plant-based bread options in June, with its multi-grain and olive basil loaf bread gaining significant popularity, selling more than 12,000 units on average each month and accounting for 10 percent of the bakery’s loaf bread sales. These plant-based bread options are created without dairy and instead use olive oil to maintain the signature soft and chewy texture that Tous Les Jours is known for. The company also introduced three derivative products that incorporate additional ingredients such as tomatoes. These products have also seen monthly sales exceeding 12,000 units.

In Indonesia, Tous Les Jours launched two new plant-based products. The first is “Japchae Croquette,” a croquette that features the iconic Korean glass noodles dish as its filling, tailored to suit local tastes. As Indonesia is a predominantly Muslim country, Tous Les Jours used soy protein instead of pork. The “Crispy Chicken Burger” is another new addition, featuring soy protein-based chicken substitute, cheese, and onions within a soft bun.

Tous Les Jours remains committed to developing plant-based products actively and plans to continue expanding its offerings in this category.
