Naver launches beta service for AI-powered hotel recommendations

Naver Corp. on Wednesday announced the initiation of the beta service for ‘For You,’ an AI-based platform designed to recommend hotels. For You is now a category in Naver’s travel product section and offers personalized hotel suggestions based primarily on user behavior and a wide range of statistical data.

For You takes various factors into account, such as hotels previously viewed by the user, frequently visited establishments, hotels that have piqued the user’s interest within the past six hours, those with a high volume of reservations over the last seven days, and hotels that have received a significant number of clicks relative to their exposure.

Naver will switch to a full service after reviewing the beta service’s market response.
