Weeekly will return to charts with EP "ColoRise" on Nov. 1, the girl group's agency IST Entertainment said Monday.
The upcoming EP will be Weeekly's first physical album release since it released its first single "Play Game: Awake" in March 2022.
"ColoRise" will feature six tracks: "Odyssey," "Backwards," "Sweet Dream," "A+," "Ruby-Duby-Du" and its lead track "Vroom Vroom," according to the tracklist Weeekly released on Wednesday.
"' ColoRise' is an album that incorporates Weeekly's ambition to paint the music industry with Weeekly's various colors," the agency said in a press release. "It is spelled with 'Rise' not 'Rize' to show the group's plan to fly high with its new album."
A black-and-white "prologue" teaser video was released Monday, announcing the title of the upcoming EP, and more teaser content, including photo and video teasers, are scheduled to be released.
Preorders for "ColoRise" will begin Friday.
Weeekly debuted under IST Entertainment in 2020. The group is known for its tracks "Tag Me (@Me)" (2020), "Zig Zag" (2020) and "After School" (2021).
Weeekly dropped "Good Day (Special Daileee)," a digital single dedicated to the girl group's fans, Daileee, on Sept. 12.
Four of the group's six members — Soojin, Soeun, Zoa and Jihan — were contestants in cable channel Mnet's girl group survival show "Queendom Puzzle," which began and ended this year.
While they did not make it to the final seven contestants, Jihan made it to the final episode, coming in at No. 10.
