"Ampers&one" will be the new name for FNC Entertainment's new seven-member boy band that is debuting in November, the agency said Wednesday.
Ampers&one is a combination of the word ampersand, also known as the sign that stands for "and" and "one." The name reflects the group's wish "to achieve its dreams by coming together [as a group]," the agency said.
FNC Entertainment unveiled the third member of the group, Brian, on the same day. It has been introducing the seven members one by one.
Brian was a contestant on Mnet's competition show "Boys Planet." The other two members who have been unveiled, both last month, are Na Kamden and Choi Ji-ho, who were also contestants in the show.
The agency added that the band's social media channels will open on Wednesday.
More details about the new boy band will be announced at a later date.
The upcoming boy band will be FNC Entertainment's first boy band since P1Harmony, which debuted in October 2020.
