South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Group has displayed an art car at its studio in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, to support Busan’s bid for the 2030 World Expo.

According to the conglomerate on Tuesday, the art car, based on Genesis’s G80 sedan, will be displayed in Goyang until November 7. It will then be showcased at its motor studio in Seoul until November 28.

The art car presents the vibrant spirit of Busan through colorful designs depicting the city’s icons. It is also written with a slogan, “Busan is ready.”

The art car had previously been exhibited in other cities, including Paris in France, the location of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) headquarters, and New York in the U.S., New Delhi in India, and Jakarta in Indonesia.

“The art car, which acts as a dynamic representative of Busan, has showcased the city’s unwavering dedication to hosting the Expo on a global stage,” the automaker said. “It will also help further bolster support for Busan’s bid.”

The host country of World Expo 2030 will be elected by 181 BIE Member States on November 28.
