BabyMonster, YG Entertainment’s much-anticipated seven-member girl group, will make its debut in November.
“To come up with the best output, we have been extra cautious about the lead track,” YG Entertainment said in a press release Tuesday, apologizing for the delay.
YG Entertainment had said the girl group would debut in September.
“All preparations have been completed, and when the girl group officially debuts in November, we plan on relentlessly marching forward at full speed, so please look forward [to BabyMonster],” the agency added.
BabyMonster’s debut lead track will feature a “powerful mood,” according to YG Entertainment.
The girl group is currently practicing for the lead track’s choreography and will start shooting its music video in late October.
BabyMonster will be YG Entertainment’s first girl group in seven years, following the debut of Blackpink in 2016. The upcoming group consists of seven members: Ahyeon, Ruka, Chiquita, Haram, Pharita, Rora and Asa.
