BIG Naughty will sing "Rock The Cup" to support professional League of Legends team Gen.G Esports for the upcoming League of Legends World Championship.
"Rock The Cup" will be released on Friday, three days before the Worlds kick off on Oct. 10.
"I'm honored to work with Gen.G and its players, who are at the top of the game," the rapper said in a press release Friday.
"It's a song designed to cheer up [the team's] players before the game and also a song that can be played as a victory song. I hope Gen.G, representing Korea, can keep reigning on the throne."
"The track incorporates Gen. G's fighting spirit and its ability to overcome obstacles," BIG Naughty's agency H1ghr Music said.
This year's League of Legends World Championship will be held in Seoul and Busan from Oct. 10 to Nov. 19, making it the first Worlds held in Korea in five years. The final will be staged at the Gocheok Sky Dome in western Seoul.
BIG Naughty, whose real name is Seo Dong-hyun, is known for his appearance on Mnet's hip-hop competition program "Show Me The Money 8" in 2019. He dropped the single "Vancouver 2" in September.
