Jungkook, Tomorrow X Together, Seventeen and more to compete for awards at MTV EMAs

Jungkook, Tomorrow X Together, Seventeen and many other K-pop acts have been nominated for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
Set to be held at the Nord Villepinte convention center in Paris on Nov. 5, MTV EMA is the American cable channel MTV's annual award ceremony held in different European cities. It will be the first time for the EMA to be held in Paris since 1995.
BTS's Jungkook has been nominated for three different awards: the Best Song award with his solo track "Seven," Best K-pop and Biggest Fans awards — making him the most nominated Korean solo artist in the history of the EMA.
Tomorrow X Together has been nominated for the Best Group, Best Push and Best K-Pop awards, followed by Seventeen, nominated for Best K-Pop and Best Group awards.
Alongside the two boy bands, girl groups aespa and NewJeans have been nominated for the Best Group award, Blackpink for the Biggest Fans award.
The nominees for the Best K-pop award are girl group Fifty Fifty, Jungkook, NewJeans, Seventeen, Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together.
MTV's Video Music Awards (VMA), held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey last month, saw Blackpink winning the Group of the Year and Best Choreography, followed by Jungkook winning the Song of the Summer, Tomorrow X Together taking the Push Performance of the Year award, Stray Kids named the Best K-pop with "S-Class" and more.
