Boy band NCT's fourth full-length album "Golden Age" topped Japanese music chart Oricon's Weekly Album chart a month after its release.

"Golden Age," which dropped on Aug. 28, became the No. 1 album on the Japanese music chart for the week of Sept. 25 to Oct. 1.

The 10-track album had topped music charts in and outside of Korea after its release, including the iTunes Album Chart and the Digital Album Sales chart on China's QQ Music.

Last month, NCT met with 22,000 fans in Japan through four "NCT STADIUM LIVE ‘NCT NATION : To The World-in JAPAN'" concerts held at the Osaka Yanma Stadium and the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.

It also held a concert titled "NCT Nation : To The World" on Aug. 26 at the Incheon Munhak Stadium back in Korea.

NCT is one of K-pop's most unique boy bands, with 23 members and five subunits under its umbrella.

The NCT franchise debuted in April 2016 under SM Entertainment, starting with the EP "The 7th Sense / Without You" by NCT U, a five-member subunit with members Taeil, Taeyong, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun and Mark.

NCT's fandom is dubbed NCTzen, a portmanteau of "NCT" and "citizen." They are also affectionately called Czennie.
