Jungkook of boy band BTS does "not have a girlfriend," he said during a live session on streaming platform Stationhead.
"I'm seeing a lot of people asking, but I don't have a girlfriend now," he said on Monday. "I want to focus on my work, so I don't feel the need [to date anyone]. ARMY can be my girlfriend, they're the only ones on my mind."
ARMY is the name of BTS's fan club. Rumors have recently been circulating on Chinese online community Weibo claiming that Jungkook had invited a woman to his home.
"I'm glad to get this off my chest," he said. "So please stop worrying and stop asking."
Jungkook has been storming worldwide charts with his latest and second official single "3D," released on Sept. 29. It has been sitting at No. 3 on streaming service Spotify's Daily Top Song Global chart for the third consecutive day.
His first single, "Seven," released last July, also shot back up to No. 1 on Spotify's Daily Top Song Global chart on Sunday.
