CHENNAI, India -- Businesswire -- Leading supply chain visibility provider FourKites (https://www.fourkites.com/?utm_medium=press) announced today that it has opened a new Asia-Pacific headquarters in Chennai's DLF Cybercity. The move to a more modern, compact space signals the company’s continued commitment to the hybrid work model, providing a comfortable, flexible workspace for local employees to collaborate, and empowering them to transition easily between in-person and remote work.

The move is also aligned with FourKites’ ongoing commitment to sustainability. The new office space is LEED-certified, and by repurposing materials from its previous premises, the company took a holistic approach to environmental responsibility.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Mathew Elenjickal, CEO and founder of FourKites, said, “We are very excited about our new Chennai location, which provides a fully flexible workspace aligned with our team's evolving needs. Not only does the hybrid work model provide the most collaborative opportunities for our growing global team, but our new space also strengthens our commitment to sustainability and curbing carbon emissions.”

A longtime champion of corporate social responsibility activities in India, FourKites commemorated its new office by launching an urban forest in collaboration with SayTrees, a renowned NGO specialising in afforestation. FourKites employees, together with their families, planted over 750 saplings in Perungalathur. The company extends its dedication to environmental initiatives to its customers through Sustainability Hub (https://www.fourkites.com/press/fourkites-introduces-industry-first-supply-chain-sustainability-analytics/), which offers detailed emissions tracking, analytics and scenario modeling to assess the environmental impact of their supply chain operations.

FourKites continues to increase its footprint in APAC, and over the last 12 months has seen 40% growth in new customers and nearly 100% growth in new carriers tracking shipments in the 50 countries in the region. Earlier this year, FourKites appointed Mitsui Knowledge Industry Co. LTD. (https://www.fourkites.com/press/fourkites-and-mitsui-appoint-mki-as-exclusive-reseller-in-japan/) (MKI) as FourKites’ exclusive reseller in Japan, part of Mitsui & Co., Ltd.’s $10M investment in the company (https://www.fourkites.com/press/fourkites-announces-10m-strategic-investment-from-mitsui-co-to-transform-supply-chains-in-asia-pacific/), which is focused on delivering hyper-localised solutions for the APAC market and boosting FourKites’ capabilities across sales, customer service and operations. Together, FourKites and MKI will deliver on surging demand for FourKites’ platform in the region, while FourKites continues to grow its headcount to support global customer needs.
