Singer and television personality Eric Nam won the TIME 100 Impact Awards, according to TIME magazine on Tuesday.
Awarded annually, the TIME 100 Impact Awards selects those who have made efforts outside of their own professional fields to create a better society. The awards ceremony was held at the National Gallery of Singapore on Sept. 17.
Nam was awarded for cofounding the content production company Dive Studios with his siblings in 2019 and launching the mental health self-care app Mindset.
“I will continue to strive to have a positive impact on the world through my music and other enterprises,” Nam said through a statement.
Other recipients of the TIME 100 Impact Awards this year include actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Ke Huy Quan and activists Elizabeth Wathuti and Zainab Salbi.
Nam released his new studio album “House on a Hill” on Sept. 8 and will embark on a world tour to 80 cities this month.
