South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol will head to New York Monday to attend the United Nations General Assembly where he will deliver a speech on Wednesday.

As part of his speech, Yoon is expected to address issues in three areas, including development, climate change, and digital transformation. He is also likely to issue a warning concerning the recent military cooperation between North Korea and Russia.

Yoon also plans to promote Busan as the final candidate for hosting the 2030 EXPO ahead of the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in November, where the host city for the EXPO will be determined.

Yoon has scheduled a series of bilateral meetings, talks, and luncheons with representatives from at least 30 countries during his six-day trip to the U.S.
