KCON will be held in Saudi Arabia on Oct. 6 and 7, its organizer CJ ENM said Friday.
It will be the second time the KCON festival will take place in Saudi Arabia, following KCON Saudi Arabia 2022 last year.
KCON Saudi Arabia 2023 will be held at The Boulevard Riyadh City in Riyadh, the same venue as last year.
Last year’s KCON in Saudi Arabia, the first KCON in the country, brought more than 20,000 K-pop fans to the festival.
The festival will see girl groups EL7Z UP, Dreamcatcher, Everglow and Oh My Girl, boy bands EVNNE, Highlight, Riize, Super Junior, Super Junior D&E, Tempest, The New Six and 8TURN, mixed-gender group KARD and solo artist Hyolyn.
KCON is a global K-pop festival hosted by CJ ENM. Having kicked off in Irvine, California, in 2012, the festival has been held in New York, Japan, Thailand, Paris, Mexico, Australia and more, with this year’s KCON Japan and KCON LA each bringing 123,000 and 140,000 visitors.
