(MHNSPORTRS Heewon Kim reporter) BLACKPINK won two awards at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' (MTV VMA), held on the 12th (local time).

On this day, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, Lisa) won 'Group of the Year' and 'Best Choreography'.

BLACKPINK was nominated for the 'Show of the Summer', including the 'Group of the Year' and 'Best Choreography' categories at this year's 'MTV VMA', and their pre-released song 'Pink Venom' from their 2nd full-length album was nominated for the 'Best K-Pop', 'Best Choreography', 'Best Art Direction', and 'Best Editing' categories.

In addition, BLACKPINK, who received the awards, will be the first K-pop girl group to hold a concert, 'BORN PINK' at the Gocheok SKy Dome in Seoul, on the 16th and 17th.
