Samsung SDS unveiled a new generative AI solution that offers seamless integration to large language models while resolving security concerns related to company data, the company said on Tuesday.

Samsung SDS showcased two AI services — Brity Copilot and FabriX — for the business-to-business market at its annual press event held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas hotel in southern Seoul.

Both Brity Copilot and FabriX can be integrated into other large language models such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Naver’s HyperClova X to boost work productivity.

Brity Copilot functions as an AI secretary that can automate in-house communication processes, from writing emails, taking minutes in meetings and suggesting appropriate data to be sent to other workers. The service can easily be integrated into the company's system and operates within a private cloud computing environment, providing security for in-house data.

“In the Brity Copilot test run, developers’ operating process sped up by 30 percent and the verification process became twice as fast,” said Song Hae-goo, the head of the solution business division at Samsung SDS. “In terms of software management, the time it took to record documents reduced by 75 percent, and automation of customer-related services reached 60 percent.”

Fabrix is a cloud service that makes it easier for workers to compile, share and search for company data. For instance, by integrating the service into large language models, workers can conveniently find the data they want without perusing the entire database, thereby shortening the time spent on the search.

“Companies wanting to implement generative AIs in their software can conveniently achieve this through FabriX, and connect their company system with a variety of large language models to accelerate hyper automation,” said Koo Hyung-joon, the head of the cloud service business division.

Koo said that their clients will be able to use FabriX and generative AIs without the danger of security breaches through the Samsung Cloud platform.

“Large language models opened the gateway for hyper automation in administrative tasks, because they truly comprehend human languages,” said Samsung SDS CEO Hwang Sung-woo. “Our employees at Samsung SDS are already using generative AIs to accumulate data and increase productivity, and we are achieving meaningful results everyday.

“Samsung SDS will collaborate [with our clients] so that they can safely and conveniently utilize generative AIs within their system,” Hwang said.
