Kim Jong-un arrives at Khasan Station in Russia

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has arrived at Russia’s Khasan station on the border between North Korea and Russia, JNN, Japanese media outlet under TBS, reported on September 12, citing a Russian government official.

According to the report, a welcome ceremony was held at the station.

North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said earlier in the day that Kim left Pyongyang on his private train on Sunday afternoon.

JNN also said that Kim will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin soon for a summit, the duo’s first meeting in over four years.
